Our journey with our pets is a very unique one. They are part of our every day, our every thought. They trust us implicitly, love us completely. Our pets are our best friends, our children, they cheer us up when we’re grumpy, or simply rest a gentle head on our lap when we need love and compassion.
I, like most of you, regularly consider what life will be like when the inevitable happens and my beloved pet passes. I think about this regularly, and the thought is overwhelming. It’s led me to consider- what would help? What would ease my grief? What do we do when we lose people we love? Because, my four legged family member means as much to me as the two legged kind.
